In 2025, Buck and I continued our exploration of Mexico by visiting Mexico City and Tepoztlan. These locations just deepened our affection for this lovely and diverse country. The people, churches, sculpture/art and food just keep us coming back!
This was the first trip to Mexico that would include the traditional Day of the Dead celebrations. We made a conscious decision to leave Mexico City 3 days before the official celebrations began in November. We felt fortunate to see the larger-than-life displays in the colonial city center, yet avoiding the ever-growing crowds that descend on Mexico City for many weekends, but especially for the very public holiday celebrations.
If you want a couple of different Mexico experiences, try visiting Mexico City and Tepoztlan!
